Marinated Chicken & Mashed potatoes

We love chicken. Fried, roasted or chicken curry it doesn’t matter…bottom line is that we love chicken. You can make chicken in very many ways but right now we’ll do the marinade way. Let’s dive.

Ingredients

  • Chicken thighs or breast (to your preference)
  • Mashed garlic and ginger to make paste
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 1/2 Chilli masala
  • 1/2 Garam masala
  • 1/2 Black pepper
  • 1/2 Tumeric
  • Rosemary leaves whole
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 table spoon Honey
  • Corriander leaves, a bunch
  • 1/2 teaspoon White vinegar

Preparation

  1. To create the marinade. Mix the above ingredients in the portions advised.
  2. Apply the marinade on the chicken. Cover with a plastic bag and refrigerate overnight.
  3. After refrigerating, prepare oil in a skillet or a non stick pan and let it heat over a medium flame.
  4. It’s not a deep fry procedure. Just put a little oil to fry. Place your marinated chicken to fry. Kindly if you have an oven you can bake the chicken.
  5. Reduce the heat to allow the chicken to cook properly. Be sure to keep turning the chicken for both sides to cook.
  6. Usually it takes 15-20 minutes.
